- Do not have sound producing organs.
- Do not have wings like most crickets.
- Do not bite or sting or carry disease.
- Nocturnal / Active at night
- Feed on wood, carpet, fungi, and insect
These crickets will move indoors during hot, dry months in search for cool humid environments. They will hibernate through the winter and reproduce early spring.
